DIY Custom Cover for the MINI Fitness Planner by Marisa Yciano
About this project, Marisa writes:
"One of my goals for the new year is to live a healthier lifestyle. I love that the Mini Fitness Happy Planner® has everything to keep track of your progress and it's great to take everywhere. One of my main struggles is finding the motivation/inspiration to exercise! So for this project I decided to make a motivational insert using The Happy Planner®DIY Custom Cover."
"First I made two 4 x 6 inch collages (for a front and back) on my computer using photos of my own and photos I found on of Pinterest. Second, I printed the collages out and cut. Next, I used a page from my MINI planner to measure where I needed to trim down the CLASSIC size custom cover. I used the paper as a guide because the customer cover needs to have a border around the images in order for it to stick. Lastly, I centered the images and followed the directions for using the DIY cover. That's it!"

"If you're anything like me, then you're not really into fitness. I am mostly a food-loving, Netflix & chill type of girl. So truth be told, I had no idea what to do with this MINI fitness planner. Then BAM! Not only did I get fired-up about using it to track my post-baby weight loss, but I realized I could also use it for the 28 days of prayer and fasting my church would be starting in the new year. So I flipped through it, studied the layout, and I came up with a way to use it for tracking both my eating and exercising plus my prayer and fasting! Now I'm ecstatic about putting this little guy in my purse and using it daily."
"For this project, I used a lot of the new adorable mini goodies: the mini dashboards, covers, hourly sheets, and sticky notes. I made it more of my style by switching out the cover to this adorable black and white striped floral design. I used my Polaroid zip printer and printed a throwback picture of me and the hubs for inspiration. (I will fit into those jeans again!) I also had the genius idea of combining the new 'Fitness' and 'Faith' sticker value packs, because Lord knows I need me some Jesus and encouragement when it comes to making a major lifestyle change like this. Especially when it means omitting sweets. Pray for me ya'll. #ForReal"
"So after spending some time in the January monthly spread and noting each of the fasting days with a star sticker, I dove into the weekly spread. I used mambi washi to mark out the areas I didn't need to use, making it work perfectly for writing prayer lists and tracking my food and exercise plan. Then I prepped a MINI hourly sheet for taking notes from my church's daily devotional they'll be sending out each of the 28 days. I transformed these awesome hourly sheets using the 'Faith' sticker value pack into exactly what I needed to focus on each day."
"Lastly, I decided to use the mini sticky notes and dashboards for writing scriptures of my choosing weekly or daily.
