"Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas & Happy Planning Days!" That's what mambi Design team member Mary-Ann Maldonado is going to be shouting when she becomes Auntie Clause to one of her nieces later this week. Mary-Ann packaged a 12-month BOX KIT planner and organized a bunch of mambi goodies to prep as a super fun Christmas gift!

About this packaging project, Mary-Ann writes:
"I may be gunning for the "Aunt of the year award" with this fun gift. You too get an award if you dare to part with such lovely products. I actually hit my local Hobby Lobby for all of these goodies. I'd like to walk you through how I packaged my idea.
All because I HAD to look at the inside of the 'Best Days' BOX KIT, I tore it out of the box! I then began gathering all of the items that I could find to help encourage my niece to start planning with me. How fun will it be to share ideas and phone calls, all while doing our planners? With the magnetic clips that come with the The Happy Planner™ 12 -Month 'Best Days' BOX KIT, I gathered some cute loose stickers that will help her decorate. Of course, mambiSHAPES die cuts and mambiSTICKS are a must for any project.
My idea was to supply her with an assortment of holiday themed SOFT SPOKEN™ stickers, that would help her with some of the obvious months. I wanted a variety of different themes for the 'guts' of her gift."
"How do you store your Washi Tapes? How about all those little discs? I had these large rings that were perfect for containing all the loose items. I will also help her keep all her goodies together..."
"...Once I knew what I was going to include, I packaged it all together. I decided I that I HAD to decorate the cover. I did not want this special gift to be my style and force her to create like me. Since the cover is a nice hard plastic, she will be able to remove the items I used and save them for decorating next years December if she wants! I will also include the rest of the stickers that I didn't use for the Christmas SOFT SPOKEN™ stickers.
So, what do you think? Aunt of the year???"
