With the thousands and thousands of stickers The Happy Planner® line contains, how do you choose which ones to use? Where do you start? Today we're sharing two functional, yet intentionally colorful weekly layouts to explore the answers to these questions.
First, we have a tri-color weekly layout by mambi Design Team member April Orr (IG | blog) that she created in her 'Be Bright' CLASSIC Happy Planner®, and then we share a ROYGBIV weekly layout in the CLASSIC 'This is Your Year' Happy Planner® of mambi Design Team member Michelle Weissert (IG | blog).
TRI-COLORED WEEKLY SPREAD IN THE 'BE BRIGHT' HAPPY PLANNER® by APRIL ORR
April has created beautiful color-coordinated spreads in her 'Be Bright' Happy Planner® since its July 2016 start! (See HERE, HERE, and HERE for some examples.) April usually starts at this particular Happy Planner®'s monthly color scheme, and chooses stickers that match the few colors that are used on the daily numbers of the weekly pages. January uses blue, teal, light blue, and a salmon color, so those are the sticker colors she's hunting for! Same goes for the monthly pages...
ROYGBIV-COLORED WEEKLY SPREAD IN THE 'THIS IS YOUR YEAR' HAPPY PLANNER® by MICHELLE WEISSERT
About these pages, Michelle writes:
"The first full week of 2017 had to start out bright & colorful to set the tone for how awesome this year will be! Most of the stickers I used were from the 'Rainbow' sticker value pack, which made it really easy to coordinate the colors. A checklist sticker on the side for remembering to take my daily medicine is my new favorite way to keep track in my planner. I also added some song lyrics and scripture to remind me to stay positive throughout the week. I just love how this week turned out!"
While the 'Be Bright' Happy Planner® that April worked in supplies a unique color scheme to each month, the 'This is Your Year' Happy Planner® that Michelle worked in is completely void of color - with each month providing a blank black & white slate to work with. Going full on ROYGBIV with it takes the guess work out of choosing what colors to use for each day.
