The new 2016-2017 Happy Planners™ begin in three weeks! You can jump into them on Monday, June 27th, and for those of you who are using The Happy Planner™ for the first time, this is very exciting! However, for others of you who are currently using the first Happy Planner™ you bought a year ago - you might be confused as to what to do with your current planner's extra pages from July to December 2016 if you're planning on switching over to your new one.
Today we're sharing two ideas by mambi Design Team member Jennie McGarvey came up with for what you could use the last six months of your current Happy Planner™ for: 1) a custom fitness planner and 2) a smaller, mini planner.
About these projects, Jennie writes:
"I see a lot of folks asking what to do with their extra Happy Planner™ pages now that they bought a brand new 18 month planner. Well, I have a couple of ideas for you..."
Custom Fitness Planner
"First, I also see a lot of folks who cannot seem to get their hands on a fitness planner but really want one. Well, why not customize one for your self? As you can see here, that is exactly what I did! I simply allowed the top two sections to keep track of my food intake and the bottom section for my movement. I still have plenty of room in the side bar for longer term goals, etc."
DIY Mini Planner
"Second, I also see a lot of folks wanting a smaller Happy Planner™. Well, again, I've got an idea... Why not fold your extra Happy Planner™ pages in half - therefore reducing the width? You can either create your own custom cover for this smaller scale planner OR you could simply cut one of your Happy Planner™ covers in half."
