ONE. WEEK. AWAY. Have you prepped anything in your Happy Planner™ leading up to Thanksgiving next Thursday? We've been ALLLLLL about Thanksgiving prep, and today we're sharing how mambi Design Team member Sheena MacComiskey's (@planwithus_mommyandme) planned for this next week leading up to Thanksgiving, and incorporated one of the new daily/hourly sheets to use on the actual day.
About these pages, Sheena writes:
"My husband and I have been hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the whole family for 3 years now, and he can vouch that I get overwhelmed with prepping and preparing and having everything perfect. When The Happy Planner™ came out with the new daily sheets, I knew I'd use them to list, hour-by-hour, how I want our Thanksgiving Day to go in terms of cooking. Having everything laid out by time increments makes it easier for me to manage my time and have dinner done by 6PM.
I also used the Recipe Organizer Extension Pack to type up a few dishes I'm going to make the day of. Having this ready for me when I open up my Happy Planner™ makes me focus and zero in on the big tasks! I love how I can just insert different things I need into my BIG size 'Make Things Happen' Happy Planner™ and have it be super functional at the same time."
"Because the week is busy-ish, I decided to use the Half Sheet Note Papers to write down our grocery list and chores list that will need to be done sometime during the week but not quite sure what day. Because the list is extensive and quite a bit more than just a regular week, these half sheets really come in handy!
I decided to keep it simple yet decorative and functional for the weekly layout. My daughter's birthday is also the same week as Thanksgiving and one of her favorite colors is yellow, so I decided to use the new 'Today Is The Day' sticker value pack to add pretty yellow flowers across the page. I spelled out the word 'THANKS' using gold foil mambiSTICKS alphas, which added a nice touch. I plan on documenting one thing I'm grateful for each week using the middle column so I added little hearts in blue and yellow as a designated place to jot that down."
