Today we are sharing this title page with some of favorite photos that mambi Design Team member Theresa Doan created in her Happy Planner™ since she's also using her planner as a scrapbook. This title page can also be called a 'dashboard' which refers to a page in your planner that marks the start, or acts as a pretty divider, or holds sticky notes or washi.
For her Happy Planner™ dashboard, Theresa had the brilliant idea of using POCKET PAGES™. Here's how she did it:
- Cut a POCKET PAGES™ sleeve down to 9 1/4" x 7". If you are using an arc brand punch and you don't want any over hang on your pages, cut it to 9 1/4" x 6-7/8". The slits on the arc punch are shooter than those on the Happy Planner™. I cut off the left side of the sleeve, which is the side with the holes.
- Line the edges of the sleeve you will be punching with the washi tape, front and back.
- Use your punch of choice to punch the sleeve on the washi tape. I use an arc punch and played with settings until I found what punched the page to line up with the Happy Planner™ pages perfect. My setting is just a little bit past the junior setting.
- Depending on what size sleeve you started with, your photos and card will have to be cropped to fit the new sized pockets. Add your photos and POCKET PAGES™ cards and add the sleeve to your planner!
