Woo wee! Happy Thanksgiving Eve, planner babes! Today we're sharing two weekly layouts by mambi Design Team member Tiffany Ross (IG | blog). Tiffany completed the first one in her CLASSIC 'Picture Quote' Happy Planner™ in which she used each of the daily columns to jot information about a side dish she's going to be preparing for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Because this recipe prep took place in her CLASSIC Happy Planner™, Tiffany used her MINI Happy Planner™ for her weekly tasks and ToDos.

On her inspiration for these pages, Tiffany writes:
"This year Thanksgiving will be a little different for me: no parents! My mom along with her siblings have decided to spend half of the year traveling all over Asia enjoying their retirement - which means no mama to cook Thanksgiving Dinner. Being the oldest I knew I had to take charge and plan something for this year. The only thing is...I don’t cook! LOL! My lovely husband, Cody, does all the cooking in our house. A couple weeks ago I chatted with my sister and she agreed to tackle the turkey and some side dishes and if I (my husband) could take care of a majority of the major side dishes. Ok! Deal!"
Tiffany continues on how these pages came together:
"I started browsing through Pinterest for easy Thanksgiving side ideas and narrowed it down to 5 (technically 4 plus dessert that I couldn’t pass up on). Since I wasn’t cooking but left with the task to go grocery shopping for the ingredients I decided to use a weekly Happy Planner™ layout to organize all the yummy food. As a visual person I printed each side dish and arranged them by day (column). Starting from the top of the column I started with the name of the dish, the photo, a quick note for Cody and the ingredients that I would need to purchase at the grocery store. I then used a variety of stickers to dress-up my layout with a Thanksgiving/Fall theme. For the weekend I gathered up some fall-ish 'Picture Quote' POCKET PAGES™ journaling cards and use them as backgrounds for each row and printed some Thanksgiving quotes I found on Pinterest to fill in the boxes. Love how it turned out!"
"Now that I had filled up my weekly layout in my CLASSIC 'Picture Quote' Happy Planner I need to plan my ToDos somewhere else. Thank goodness for the undated MINI Happy Planner™! I was able to list all my appointments, and ToDos for the week and have the pages fit between the Thanksgiving prep layout. To add any extra appointment or to do’s that come up during the week I took one of the larger POCKET PAGES™ journaling cards that matched with the weekend backgrounds and created a dashboard for some sticky notes.
I’m ready to tackle Thanksgiving and the rest of the week all in one planner! This would also work for any party and holiday. I can’t wait to do the same thing for New Year’s Eve. Happy Thanksgiving #plannerbabes!"
