The great thing about The Happy Planner™ is - YES: it's a planner and you can plan in it and get things done - but it's also a blank canvas if you want it to be. MAKE IT WORK FOR YOU, we always say, and that's what mambi Design Team member Mary-Ann Maldonado (blog | IG) did when she doodled on her July monthly spread before adding sticky notes and other plans to her pages.
About these pages, Mary-Ann writes:
"I was so excited to get out my new 'Botanical Garden' Happy Planner™. For my July monthly spread, I decided to doodle. I tried my best to replicate the front of my planner. I did not shade in the images so I could add writing. That was my original intent. I decided later to just add colorful sticky notes where needed.
More will be added as the month goes along, but for now I love the fresh look of the doodling with all of the turquoise and pink!"
"I have been participating in #TheHappyPlannerIGChallenge this month, have you? Also, I printed out the free downloadable page that went along with the challenge - and from it - my son filled out his Summer Bucket List. Banana splits for dinner sounds great to me!
I also love adding stickies to my dashboard. It keeps the ones I want to use at close reach. Not that the others are far away, but I can coordinate easier this way. Everything matches and it helps with on-the-go planning."
