In order to document December, you pick a story for each day of December and write about it as a way to look back and cherish those little moments happening in your life as well as family traditions. This is the first year mambi Design Team member Sheena MacComiskey (@planwithus_mommyandme) is doing it in her Happy Planner®, and today we're sharing how she documented December 4th using Happy Planner® Pocket Pages.
About this project, Sheena writes:
"Something fun that my family did this year is actually purchase a real tree! We took our daughter to the tree vendor down the street and had her pick out her favorite. Normally, we would put up our artificial tree which doesn't have the same feel as buying a fresh, good smelling one. I'm all about bringing the outside into our home with greenery and fresh flowers, so the fresh tree was really special.
I captured these sweet moments using my iPhone and emailed the photos to myself to save on my laptop. Having full page photos in albums makes my heart smile! To make this album, I used the CLASSIC sized Snap-In cover in quilted black with gold discs. I took a month from the CLASSIC Six-Month Extension Pack as well as the CLASSIC and MINI size pocket pages."
"To print full sized photos for the CLASSIC Happy Planner®, I used Microsoft Word and resized the photo to 9x7 inches and for the pocket page photos, I sized them down to 3x4 inches. To make a journaling card I took The Happy Planner® half-sheet notepaper and sized it down to 3x4 inches using my paper trimmer. I added cute mambiSTICKS Christmas stickers as embellishments, which added a nice touch to the plain notepaper.
This is a fun way to memory keep or memory plan in your Happy Planner™ which I will use throughout 2017!"
