No joke: we are SUPER EXCITED to hop into our Happy Planner™ Recipe Organizer the next few days to record the recipes of favored Thanksgiving dishes! If you haven't cracked open this particular Happy Planner™ yet, this is the week to do so!
To give you added motivation, we're sharing how mambi Design Team member Gretchen Klobucar (IG | blog) used hers to fill out a page for her Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese recipe! OMG! (Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom to see a close-up of the dish done and ready to be dived into!)
About this page, Gretchen writes:
"I've been using my Happy Planner™ Recipe Organizer to save family favorite dishes. Fall brings some delicious flavors, and this bowl of comfort is no exception. This one has evolved over the last five years and does well with various substitutions. For example, any kind of melty cheese works, and you can replace bacon with pancetta or omit the meat entirely for vegetarians. Sometimes I add Dijon mustard to the cheese sauce and garnish with goat cheese. It's also nice enough to serve for guests for a dinner party or Thanksgiving."
"I recorded the ingredients and steps using a pen from the Happy Planner™ Planner Basics™ line. For this page, I wanted to use the fall colors of orange, green, and gold. The asterisks and hearts from the Fall page in the seasonal value pack of stickers added just the right touch of color to the directions. I also added stickers from the recipe pack of Happy Planner™ stickers; they are my favorite for my recipe organizer!"
