We hope all you planner babes had a FABulous Thanksgiving weekend, and will be eating yummy turkey leftovers for days to come! We also hope you're ready for all the December goodness we have coming your way in the form of fun holiday projects to be posted on this blog.
First up are three December Bucket Lists by mambi Design Team members Marisa Yciano (IG | blog), Jennie McGarvey (IG | YouTube), and Heather Kell (IG | blog). While Marisa and Jennie created theirs on the monthly spreads of their Happy Planners™, Heather took a DIY approach and incorporated hers into a WHOLE ENTIRE DIY Christmas Planner she created for her family.
December Bucket List in the
MINI Happy Planner™ by Marisa Yciano
About these pages, Marisa writes:
"Every year I feel like I have this HUGE list of things I have to / like to do before Christmas arrives. Instead of writing everything down in list form I decided to write everything down in my monthly layout in my MINI Happy Planner™. Not everything needs to be done on that specific day just as long as it gets checked off at some point before December 25th. Since my MINI Happy Planner™ is my 'on the go' planner, I love having it like this because it's a quick reminder to myself when I'm out somewhere. It's also great when I am ready to plan out my week in my CLASSIC Happy Planner™.
"The 'Seasonal' sticker value pack had some great stickers that I was able to use. I love that there are stickers for all kinds of holiday festivities! I also used a holiday DecoPen to mark the days that I am off of work. It's another reminder to myself that I will have more time on those days to get things done."
December Bucket List in the CLASSIC 'Be Bright' Happy Planner™ by Jennie McGarvey
About these pages, Jennie writes:
"It's no secret that people love celebrating Christmas for the entire month of December. A lot of planners aren't going to document the festive activities, but why not track all the fun you can have?"
First, I made a list of activities my family enjoys in the month of December. Then, I planned out the dates we would do them. I added a little planner 'decor' using the 'Seasonal' sticker value pack, and VOILA! A great way to track the holiday season!"

DIY December Bucket List & full-on DIY Christmas Planner by Heather Kell
About this project, Heather writes:
"I LOVE Christmas. It's my favorite time of the year! I love the shopping, gift giving, wrapping presents, baking, planning and attending parties, cooking, traveling, decorating- I love it all! But it can also be a very overwhelming season if you don't plan well. Thankfully me & my BIG ideas has plenty of products that make it super easy to create your own DIY Christmas Planner! I created this planner to help keep our holiday season organized so that we can get the most out of this season!"
"I used the new Christmas mambiSHEETS paper pack and the new DIY Happy Planner cover to create my covers for this planner. I love how this new DIY cover makes it so easy to create your own cover! It was the perfect way to create a quick Christmas cover.
I used the mambiSHEETS and The Happy Planner™ Punch to create a title page and six dividers for this planner. My dividers in this Christmas Planner are: Gifts, Christmas Bucket List, Events & Plans, Christmas Cards, Christmas Movies, and My Wish List."
"Inside each divider, I used The Happy Planner notebook paper to create the pages that go inside of each divider. In the gift section, I have a budget page, a page to remind me where we got all of the gifts, and a checklist for if the gifts have been wrapped yet."
"In the Christmas Bucket List section, I created a bucket list of things that I want Matthew and I to do during this Christmas season. I used stickers from the seasonal value pack of stickers to create this list. After we do each item, I will come back and write a summary of what we did. I might even include a picture! It will be like a mini memory planner."
"In the 'Events & Plans' sections, I will keep track of our plans for the holiday season. I will punch in any invitations that we get to Christmas parties as well."
"Christmas cards are one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season. I love checking my mail every single day for the cards! In this section, I made a list of who all I should send a Christmas card too. I also made a page that will keep track of who sends us cards- this will help me to make our list next year. Once our Christmas cards arrive, I will also punch one of them and add it to this section."
"The next section is for Christmas movies. I love watching Christmas movies, but I feel like every year I miss out watching some of my favorites! I plan to make a list of all the ones I want us to watch, and then I will check them off as we watch them."
"The last section is 'My Wish List'. This is where I will make my Christmas list so that my husband, Matthew, can easily see what all he could buy for me. I will also keep track of the gifts I receive here so that I can write 'Thank You' notes after Christmas!
I also included two Happy Planner™ folders to keep track of receipts and any other items from the season."
