Who says that sticky notes are just for using in your planner? Just like mambi Design Team member Heather Adams (blog | IG), we also have a *slight* obsession with the awesome Happy Planner™ sticky notes. With this obsession, Heather decided she wanted to try making a scrapbook layout using mainly Happy Planner™ products, and today's post is the result!
About this project, Heather writes:
"When you step back and look at The Happy Planner™ products I used, there are SO many neutral icons and quotes that make it super easy to use on something other than what they’re originally designed for.
To create this layout, I placed my photo in the center of my 8.5x11 page and then added sticky notes all around the photo. You’ll notice that I journalled on some of the notes and added embellishments on other ones. It’s so fun to mix it up! After placing the sticky notes, I added little bits of other stickers and stamps. Then I painted a pink watercolor wash around the area of the page where there was not any embellishing. I think the watercolor helps tie in all the pink that appears throughout the layout and fills in some of the empty white space. Since all of the products that I used are flat, it would be very simple to add a layout like this into your Happy Planner™— just punch the side with The Happy Planner™ PUNCH and you’re ready to go!"
