Today we're kicking off a new blog series called 'I Am a Happy Planner', and the first happy planner we're featuring is one of the new members of our 2015-2016 mambi Design Team: Thuy Bui. We asked Thuy a few questions about how she uses The Happy Planner™ system, and we hope her answers inspire you to plan your happy life...
Tell us a little about YOU!
Hi I'm Thuy Bui and I am the gal behind the Creative Lifestyle blog, Hey Thuy. I live in the great state of Oklahoma with the mister and our two awesome boys! Hey Thuy is a place for all things crafty and creative. I am admittedly a paper addict and washi tape hoarder who loves DIY projects, little details, pretty paper, and all the glitter! I believe #happymail is the best kind of mail and should be sent often. I believe you should feed your creativity and use it as a way to connect with others. At Hey Thuy, my mission is to help you create the cheerful lifestyle you desire all while cultivating a good life.
How do you use The Happy Planner™ to organize your life?
I use The Happy Planner™ in my everyday life. I am both a monthly and weekly planner. I like to be able to have a month's view to see what is going on for the whole month and I also like to the weekly option to break things down with smaller to do's.
What are some of your favorite Happy Planner™ products?
Some of my favorite Happy Planner™ products are probably is the Note & Graph Paper Extension Pack because I love making lists and I like the freedom to get as creative as I want when creating them. I am also a big fan of the Pocket Folders. I love being able to keep schedules, invitations within my planner to reference back to.
What is your planning routine? When and where do you plan?
I am a creative of habit therefore Sunday is always a planning day for me. I take time to jot down any upcoming events or appointments that I may have wrote down on a scratch piece of paper and I also plan for the week by writing my to do list on each day.
Is there anything else you'd like to include, or any planning tips you'd like to share?
My only planning tip is that perfection is overrated and don't be afraid to really write and get creative with your planner! It can only make it more unique!
Hey! We here at me & my BIG ideas want to see how you're utilizing the products in our Create 365™ The Happy Planner™ line. We want to know how our new planner system fits into your busy, wonderful life.
If you consider yourself a happy planner just like Thuy, above, then we encourage you to head over to our 'I Am A Happy Planner' page and fill out the entry form for a chance to be featured on our blog and social media channels.
