Let's face it: we're artists. We're visual, we like colors and shapes and type, and combining separate elements to make them look like an even better something put together. Artist and mambi Design Team member Heather Adams did just that when she combined prints from some of our DIY Gallery Pads, a gold foil jumbo mambiSTICKS sticker, photos, and pretty draped circle garland right above the new crafting desk in her scrapbook room.
"Just a few weeks ago, I got a new scrapbook desk. I was so excited to reorganize all of my supplies and to decorate my new space! I knew I wanted to do a gallery wall to decorate the area above my desk, and when I remembered that I had the Gallery Art pads from me & my BIG ideas, I was ecstatic.
I picked out some of my favorite colorful prints (the cactus and flamingo!!) and added some instant photos and other prints to mix it up a bit. I used some really sticky washi tape to stick the pictures onto the wall. So far they are holding up very well! I would suggest that you buy some tape that is meant for putting photos up on the wall if you don't want to deal with the possibility that the prints might fall off the wall if you use just washi tape. It doesn't bother me right now because I am planning on changing up this wall every now and then. So I guess when the photos start falling off the wall, it'll be time for change!"
We love her sweet reminders to "create" and that "good things take time," and predict it will do its part to inspire her as she's crafting (more so than a blank wall would).
