Happy Monday, Happy Planners! I don't know about you, but I am full swing into my 2017 goals...both business and personal. I have some BIG dreams for 2017 and I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us.
I chose my intention for the year very carefully. HEALTHY is my word and it's what I want to focus on this year. It came to me instantly but I thought it seemed to predictable. I tried to be more clever but I just never felt as connected to any other word but HEALTHY. So I stayed true to my instinct. HEALTHY! A healthy body, home, work life, balance, etc. And I'm starting with a healthy body.
A few months ago, on Periscope, I shared how I used my fitness planner to set and track my fitness goals. The image above shows the handmade "planner" I used in 2014 to lose 40 pounds. It was the inspiration for The Happy Planner® Fitness Extension pack. It's still what I choose to use today. It's CLASSIC size fits perfectly into my daily Happy Planner so I have it with me all the time.
Everyone has their own preferences for getting (and staying) healthy. I like to see the numbers. So I use the monthly layout to track my weight, total calories, calories burned and finally, the calorie deficit for the day. Setting it up at the beginning of the month makes is easy to fill in every day.
