"This summer I have spent so much wonderful time together with my family that I wanted to create a book celebrating that. So my theme for this mini book is Togetherness. :) Plus, I LOVE giving old things new life - so my son's much loved, falling apart Winnie the Pooh book made great base pages.
Slightly overwhelmed by all my fabulous mambi goodies - I simplified my process by pulling out only one piece of 12x12 paper from the pad that I wanted to use. I gathered only a few other supplies at first like my watercolors, white gesso, and vellum to create the pages first. Then I went back and added all the fun embellishments and pictures...
...so scrappy tip: limit paper & supplies initially AND limit color palette."
These next few weeks before the holiday madness starts up is a great time to make a mini book of this past summer's adventures you've yet to document.
