Have you tried using water colors yet in your scrapbooking? I haven't ventured to do it but Stephanie Buice made a great page combining watercolors with soft spoken™ embellishments. In this layout the embellishments were really her jumping off point. I loved them and knew they were going to be on my page for sure, I just needed to decide on my pictures and a page design. Many of the times as I am working on a background for a layout I will go ahead and make two at the same time so I have one on hand. It really saves time because the next time I go to work on a layout, I do not have to spend time waiting for paint or inks to dry. This background was so fun and so easy to make! First I used some ink daubers and created my circles working my way in. After I got my main color circles done I mixed up some gelatos and watercolors on a paint pallet and blended my colors together, seriously it only took about 10 minutes! After my ink was dry I added my journaling and then sewed over it in circles. Then added my pictures, mambi cards and my title. The "Hello" was a silhouette cut I had on hand and the "love" I hand scripted with ink and cut out. After those were all in place it was time to add on my Soft Spoken stickers. Since I had picked them out before I started all I had to do was stick them in place and I was done! I really encourage anyone who wants to try out watercolors to just jump in, I promise it's not as hard as it looks and you'll love the results.
