Design Team member Mary-Ann Maldonado pulled out all the gold foil stops for this photoless scrapbook page about her feelings on daylight savings time and shorter days.
About this layout, Mary-Ann writes:
"I created this layout to tell how I feel about daylight savings time. My family dreads this time of year, but I kind of love it. I explain why in the journaling. I chose the gold foil letters and numbers because they are strong, shiny, and made a point. They draw attention. I chose papers that would highlight my numbers and my journaling. Some gold stitching and gold paint bring it all together with a tiny touch of kraft to anchor my white cardstock."

Daylight savings time and the colder weather usually get me down, but I've been so inspired by this layout to appreciate the quieter, inside time this year brings. ...and all this gold would work really well for documenting Christmas or New Year!
