Good morning! Do you feel that Fall chill in the air? I certainly do when looking at Design Team member Latrice Murphy's above scrapbook page featuring her daughter in the cutest owl sweater, swinging from a beautiful autumn tree branch.
About the layout, Latrice writes:
"I started with the photo and pulled colors and inspiration from there. The 12x12 paper from the 'Encouraging Words' paper pad contained the perfect title and starting point. A little gray and yellow pull it all together. The leaves and stickers worked together to create embellishment clusters and finish the page off fast."
Here was Latrice's process:
Start with a 12 x 12 paper and choose two more patterned papers.
Next choose a coordinating cardstock and cut two thin strips.
Adhere your two patterned papers to the layout base and add the thin strips of cardstock to cover the seams.
Next matte your 5x7 photo in white and add to the center of the page.
Tuck a journaling card under the left side then add you letter stickers.
Now for sewing. I use a machine, but you can do this by hand also.
Finish the page with the mambi glitter leaves die cuts and stickers in clusters of three. Adhere some with 3D adhesive.
