Happy July to you all! The Fourth of July is only days away. I made a cute and easy patriotic wreath in about 30 minutes. You can too, let's get started.
A list of supplies I used:
- Fourth of July soft spoken embellishments.
- POCKET PAGES™ cards to create the pinwheels.
- Wreath from Michaels.
- Patriotic decorative wire with stars available at Hobby Lobby & Michaels.
- Glue Gun.
- Adhesive or Xyron for the pinwheels.
- Three small sticks or skewers.
First I wrapped the decorative wire with starts around the wreath. Next I used the Xyron (or you can use any adhesive) to adhere a red and a blue card together to make each of the pinwheels. For instructions on how to make the pinwheels check HERE for full instructions. Stephanie will show you how.
I adhered the pinwheels to the wreath with the glue gun. I also put the round soft spoken™ pieces in the middle of the pinwheels with the glue gun for decoration, it also serves to keep them together.
I stuck the three skewers ino the wreath and put the little rockets and the 'Fourth of July' soft spoken piece on them with the glue gun. They embellishments are adhesive but I wanted to make sure they stayed on permanently since they are not going on a flat surface.
Now just hang it! A cute and easy way to show your patriotism and your love for holidays. Happy week of the Independence Day!!!
