A Gift Card Bouquet

Hi everyone, Hannah here for a project for you.  Everyone is feeling the pinch nowadays but we still have important occasions to celebrate in our lives, for example a friend's baby shower.  My friend Kristi had a wonderful idea for a gift card bouquet.  It would be an easy gift for a group of friends and everyone would be able to contribute a gift card of their choice.  As a final touch we would combine them all with a bouquet of flowers.  I thought it would be cute to cover the gift cards and layer them to make a heart and discreetly tuck them in the bouquet.

Materials from our Playmates Mini Collection:

(clockwise from top)

Playmates - Animal Kingdom specialty cardstock pad

Playmates chipboard embellishments

Playmates - Bumblebee clear sticker with rhinestones

Primary rhinestone pack

sunflowers, green pipe-cleaners, tape, ribbon

1. Choose papers from the specialty pad.  You have your pick of paper with glitter, foil, and UV coating...so pretty!  Cut down your papers to 4.5" squares.  Remember to make a gift card heart you'll need two of the same pattern.

2. Wrap each gift card.  If you'd like you can write a message on each paper.  Center the card on top of a paper square, wrap, and close with a piece of tape.

3. Overlap two of the same pattern to create a heart shape and adhere together.  Repeat with remaining cards.  Add a pipe-cleaner at the tip of each heart.  Decorate each heart with chipboard embellishments and rhinestones for an extra touch.

4. Tuck each heart in between your flowers and wrap your bouquet with a ribbon.  You could even place some rhinestones on your flowers.

You could even make a matching card for everyone to sign!

Hope you enjoy this project.  Have a wonderful weekend!
